Our Commitment

At Backprforce, your satisfaction is our priority. We strive to provide excellent personalized style selection services that meet your expectations. This Return Policy outlines our cancellation and refund procedures. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) are not excluded by this policy.

Return Period

We provide services rather than physical goods. Applicable timeframes are:

  • Cancellation and full refund: requests made 48 hours or more before your appointment
  • Partial refund: cancellations 24–48 hours before your appointment (50% refund as per our cancellation policy)
  • Service satisfaction: contact us within 7 days of your consultation if you are not satisfied

Conditions for Refund

Refunds are subject to the following conditions:

  • Cancellation must be made within the timeframes set out in our Order Cancellation Policy below
  • For service satisfaction, you must contact us within 7 days and allow us to address your concerns
  • Refunds are made to the original payment method
  • Where the Australian Consumer Law applies (for example, services not supplied as agreed), we will comply with your statutory rights

Cost of Return Shipping

We provide consultations and style services, not physical goods for delivery. Return shipping does not apply. If in the future we supply goods and you are entitled to a return under the ACL or this policy, any cost of return shipping will be stated at the time of purchase or in the relevant offer.

Return Process

To request a cancellation or refund:

  • Contact us by email or phone as soon as possible
  • Provide your name, booking reference, and reason for cancellation or refund request
  • We will confirm receipt and process your request in line with this policy and the Refund Procedure below

Non-refundable Items and Services

The following are not refundable under our standard policy:

  • Consultation fees where you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment or do not attend (no-show)
  • Gift vouchers (they may be transferred to another person; see Gift Vouchers section)
  • Services that have already been fully performed, except where we have not met our obligations or you have rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Australian Consumer Law and Legal Requirements

Under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), you may have statutory consumer guarantees in relation to our services. These guarantees cannot be excluded. If our services fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as a refund, re-supply, or compensation. This policy works alongside your ACL rights; where there is a conflict, we will honour your statutory rights.

Order Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances change. You may cancel or reschedule your consultation according to the following terms:

Cancellations 48+ Hours in Advance:

  • Full refund of the consultation fee
  • No cancellation charges apply
  • Refund processed within 5-7 business days

Cancellations 24-48 Hours in Advance:

  • 50% refund of the consultation fee
  • Option to reschedule at no additional charge

Cancellations Less Than 24 Hours or No-Shows:

  • No refund available
  • Full consultation fee is retained
  • Rescheduling subject to availability and additional fees

Rescheduling Policy

You may reschedule your appointment:

  • One free reschedule with at least 24 hours notice
  • Additional reschedules may incur an administrative fee
  • Subject to availability of new appointment slots

Service Satisfaction

If you are not satisfied with your consultation for any reason:

  • Contact us within 7 days of your consultation
  • We will work with you to address your concerns
  • Options may include a partial refund or complimentary follow-up session
  • Each case is reviewed individually to find a fair solution

Refund Procedure

To request a cancellation or refund, contact us by email or phone and provide your name, booking reference, and reason. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. It may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person. They are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel due to illness, family emergency, or other exceptional circumstances, please contact us to discuss your situation. We will do our best to accommodate you.
